Minton Majolica Figure of a Falconer

Victorian, circa 1864. 14.3ins high, 5.5ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Minton Majolica figure which features a falconer, stood in front of foliage, holding a bird (falcon) in his left hand.

Colouration: blue, green, grey, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1864.

CONDITION: Very Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to beak.
