
Victorian, circa 1865. Tallest is 10.2ins high, 11ins wide, 11ins depth. Pair of Minton Majolica oriental-style jardinières and stands which feature embossed, repeating oriental-style geometric patterns and motifs around the outsides.
Colouration: turquoise, green, ochre, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1171'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1865.
CONDITION: Jardiniere: Very Good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: small firing pit to the rim of the jardiniere;
a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the inside of the stand.
