George Jones Majolica Father Christmas Jug/Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1875. 5.5ins high, 5.5ins wide, 4.1ins depth. George Jones Majolica jug/pitcher which features holly and mistletoe emanating from a twisted- branch handle. The spout molded with the head of Father Christmas wearing a crown of holly.

Cobalt blue ground version.

Colouration: cobalt blue, green, white, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '2775'.

Condition

CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration.

A small amount of light, inconspicuous staining to the forehead of Father Christmas.
