Joseph Holdcroft Majolica Fish Jug

Victorian, circa 1877. 7.9ins high, 7.1ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica jug/pitcher which features two fish (carp) swimming and a bamboo handle.

Colouration: cobalt blue, turquoise, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Holdcroft pottery. English diamond registration mark for the date 28/09/1877.

Condition

CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration.

Small flake to edge.

Slightly stained crazing to the rim.
