
Victorian, circa 1859. 4ins high, 4.6ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features oak leaves and acorns to the sides and a snail to the handle.
Colouration: brown, green, yellow, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '553'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1859.
CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. Tiny flake to the rim.
KILN EFFECTS: fine crazing to the interior and the underneath.
