
Victorian, circa 1870. 5.9ins high, 11ins wide, 10.2ins depth. George Jones Majolica strawberry server, spoon, sugar pot and creamer which features a bird (thrush) perched on the rim between two hollow nests which form wells for the removable creamer and sugar bowl.
Strawberry flowers and leaves to the main dish.
Colouration: turquoise, brown, pink, are predominant.
English diamond registration mark for the date 08/03/1870.
CONDITION: Dish: Good. Slight usage wear in the nests.
RESTORATION. Bird reglued and join retouched, through feet and tail.
Filled chip to tip of beak.
Creamer: Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to spout.
Spoon and sugar bowl both excellent condition with no restoration.
