Large Minton Majolica Lily Jug/Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1870. 8.1ins high, 6.3ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features flowering lilies and lily pads.

Colouration: green, dark pink, white, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '12??'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.

Condition

CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. Slight staining from use, tide mark on inside at rim.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack where handle joins rim.
