Large Wedgwood Majolica Plate with Country House Scene

Victorian, circa 1874. 11.8ins high, 11.8ins wide, 1.5ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features a central intaglio panel, with a scene depicting a country house, a man on horseback, a cottage and trees.

Colouration: green, blue, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2'.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1874.

CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. Very slight wear to the central panel.
