George Jones Majolica Camel Flower Holder

Victorian, circa 1871. 8.9ins high, 9.4ins wide, 5.5ins depth. George Jones Majolica flower holder which features a camel, stood over leaves, carrying panniers on it's back.

Colouration: turquoise, green, grey, are predominant. Bears a pattern number, '='. English diamond registration mark for the date 23/12/1871.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application around the mouth.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to front left leg. Stabilised and retouched hairline to back left foot.

Tail remodelled, from about half way down.
