
Victorian, circa 1867. 5.8ins high, 6.4ins wide, 6.4ins depth. Minton Majolica planter and stand which features bamboo cane-effect sides, bound together with green ribbon.
Brown ground version. Colouration: brown, green, pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1867.
CONDITION: Pot: Good. No restoration. A light limescale deposit around the bottom, where the pot has been sat in water.
Small, shallow, coloured in chip to the foot rim.
Stand: Good. No restoration. Two small, shallow, coloured in chips to the rim.
