Minton Majolica Oak Jug/Pitcher with Snail Handle

Victorian, circa 1862. 6.7ins high, 7.3ins wide, 5.3ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features oak leaves and acorns to the sides and a snail to the handle.

Bark effect ground.

Colouration: brown, green, yellow, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1862.

Condition

CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. Very slight wear to the rim.
