Minton Majolica Malachite Oyster Plate

Victorian, circa 1875. 9.3ins high, 9.3ins wide, 0.9ins depth. Minton Majolica oyster plate which features six shell shaped wells with seashell surrounds.

Malachite ground version.

Colouration: green, brown, cream, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1323'. English diamond registration mark for the date 25/11/1870. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1875.

CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to the rim.
