Minton Majolica Four Tiered Oyster Stand

Victorian, circa 1865. 10.6ins high, 12.2ins wide, 12.2ins depth. Minton Majolica oyster stand which features four tiers of open oyster shells, laid on seaweed. A fish and eel handle at the top.

Rotates on the base. Colouration: green, white, brown, are predominant. Bears a monogram mark, 'CB'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Small wear on back of eel.

RESTORATION. Filled chips to some of the shells: two on bottom tier;

one on next tier up;

one on next tier up; one on top tier.
