
Victorian, circa 1880. 22.6ins high, 10.2ins wide, 10.2ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica stick or umbrella stand which features leafy bamboo branches and peony flowers up the sides.
Cobalt blue ground version.
Colouration: cobalt blue, green, brown, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, '71..t'.
CONDITION: Generally Good. A few inconspicuous flakes, here and there.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze, on one side, near the base and on rim.
RESTORATION. Two stabilised and retouched hairlines to the rim.
A few filled chips to the foot rim.
