Gustafsberg Majolica Cat Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1877. 9.4ins high, 7.5ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Gustavsberg Majolica jug/pitcher which features a tabby cat with a mouse trapped under it's paw.

Colouration: brown, white, green, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Gustavsberg pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage line below the right foot;

touch mark to the base.

RESTORATION. Small filled chip to top of right front foot.

Old filled chip to rim.

Small filled chip to under tail.
