
Victorian, circa 1860. 13.8ins high, 6.7ins wide, 5.9ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery dog which features a begging spaniel with pipe, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Russet and white version. Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
A few paint losses to paws and markings.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack above front left leg;
touch mark to top of nose and left side of face.
Some slight staining in places.
