A whelk shell form the handle on the lid.
Colouration: brown, blue, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Thomas Sergent pottery.
CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: stilt marks to the underside of the lid.
