Circa 1880. 5.9ins high, 5.3ins wide, 5.3ins depth. Thomas Sergent French Palissy Majolica box and cover which features a frog, a snake on the lid, various seashells, and leaves.

Colouration: grey, green, blue, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Thomas Sergent pottery. Bears a pattern number, '13'.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally Good. KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the underside of the lid.

RESTORATION. Remodelled snake head to the lid.
