Pair Monumental Palissy Majolica Game Wall Plaques

Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 26.4ins high, 18.9ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Pair of Unidentified French Palissy Majolica wall plaques which feature fish, a duck, a lobster and a net, amongst bulrushes / cattails on one.

A hare and game birds, amongst oak leaves and acorns to the other.

Colouration: black, cream, yellow, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Plate 1: Good. Kiln effects: a few firing cracks.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to section of rim at the bottom.

Plate 2: Generally Good. Kiln effects: a few firing cracks.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to the rim on the left and right sides.
