
Victorian, circa 1870. 13.5ins high, 9.8ins wide, 5.5ins depth Brownfield Majolica jug/pitcher which features a cockatoo perched on a branch handle.
White ground version. Colouration: white, yellow, brown, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Brownfield pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2044 6/77'.
CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to one side of the bird's crest. Filled chips to same area.
