Hugo Lonitz Figure of a Bagpiper

Circa 1880. 13ins high, 5.1ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Lonitz Majolica figure which features a young man playing bagpipes, bottle in pocket.

Colouration: blue, brown, yellow, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Lonitz pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1337'.

CONDITION: Generally Good.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to coat hem;

Filled chips to cuffs;

Filled chip to hat;

End of bagpipe and fingers remodelled.
