
Victorian, circa 1879. 1.4ins high, 9.1ins wide, 9.1ins depth Wedgwood Majolica which features five fish around a central well.
White ground version. Colouration: white, grey, yellow, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2754'. English diamond registration mark for the date 1878. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1879.
CONDITION: Good. Some small flakes to the rim and underside.
Slight wear to top of fish heads.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to one foot, on the reverse.
