Wedgwood Majolica Hare Compote

Victorian, circa 1877. 2.9ins high, 9.1ins wide, 9.1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica compote which features an autumnal, woodland scene, with a bounding hare.

Colouration: green, brown, yellow, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1877.

CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.

Filled chip to rim.
