Victorian, circa 1877. 0.8ins high, 9.1ins wide, 9.1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features a nesting bird (a snipe), amongst reeds.

Colouration: green, yellow, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1877.

CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.
