Minton Majolica Circular Bread Platter

Victorian, circa 1870. 1.2ins high, 15ins wide, 15ins depth. Minton Majolica platter which features wheat ears and the inscriptions 'Waste not', 'Want not' and 'Spare not' to the rim.

Turquoise ground version. Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Some wear to rim and interior.

KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior;

glaze misses to the border.
