Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, white, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.

Bears a pattern number, '1482'. English diamond registration mark for the date ????. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.

Condition

Good. KILN EFFECTS: small firing pits to brown glazed patches.

RESTORATION. Two stabilised and retouched hairlines to the rim.

Filled chip to tip of one beak.
