Brownfield Majolica Scarlet Cockatoo Jug/Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1880. 12.6ins high, 9.4ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Brownfield Majolica jug/pitcher which features a cockatoo perched on a branch.

Scarlet ground version. Colouration: scarlet, green, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Brownfield pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2044 9/81'.
