Minton Majolica Pigeon Centrepiece Bowl

Victorian, circa 1870. 5.5ins high, 12.6ins wide, 12.6ins depth. Minton Majolica centrepiece bowl which features three pigeons with tails fanned out, supporting a basketweave bowl.

Colouration: ochre, turquoise, purple, are predominant. (N.B: Lid absent.)

Condition

CONDITION: Generally Good.

Some wear to interior.

KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the interior.

RESTORATION. Two rim sections reglued and joins retouched.

Filled chip to rim.
