
Circa 1870. 20.1ins high, 10.6ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Lonitz Majolica mirror which features a portrait panel, ropes with tassels and candle holders on either side.
Colouration: brown, green, blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Lonitz pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1476'.
CONDITION: Good.
Chip to top left corner of mirror (visible to reverse).
Wear and losses to mirrors silver film coating.
RESTORATION. Filled chips to rim and lower decoration of both candle holders.
Stabilised and retouched cracks to the hanging hole.
Retouching to flakes.
