
Victorian, circa 1870. 4.3ins high, 5.7ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery butter dish with a pastoral theme which features a cow on the lid, resting on an oval milk churn-like dish base.
Black and white version.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Date registration diamond mark for November 1868, on underside of the lid.
