
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 3.5ins high, 3.5ins wide, 1.6ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware figure with a pastoral theme which features a cockerel/rooster, stood on a round hollow base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.
CONDITION: Good. Some small flakes to ground.
Some paint losses wings, crest and tail feathers.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the chest;
some touch marks.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to beak.
