Pair Staffordshire Black & White Disraeli Spaniels

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 10.2ins high, 7.5ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery models which feature a spaniel with Disraeli curls to head, front leg free, seated directly on the ground, no base.

Dull gilt collar and locket. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent hole to the reverse.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Right facing: Very Good. No restoration. Minor paint loss to eye.

Slight rubbing to gilt.

Left facing: Very Good. No restoration. Minor paint loss to eye and muzzle.

Slight rubbing to gilt.

Kiln effects: some craze lines.
