
Circa 1890. 2.8ins high, 7.1ins wide, 7.1ins depth. Mafra Portuguese Palissy Majolica wall plate which features lizards and beetles.
Colouration: green, brown, blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery.
CONDITION: Good.
Flaking to ground.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the lizard's tail.
RESTORATION. Filled chips to both beetle's legs.
