
Circa 1890. 2.8ins high, 9.4ins wide, 9.4ins depth. Jose A Cunha Portuguese Palissy Majolica wall plate which features a snake, a lizard in a burrow, moths, grubs and a frog.
Colouration: green, brown, cream, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Jose A Cunha pottery.
CONDITION: Good.
Some small flakes to ground.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze.
RESTORATION. Filled chips to moth's wings.
