
Victorian, circa 1890. 2.8ins high, 8.3ins wide, 8.3ins depth. Mafra Portuguese Palissy Majolica plate which features toads, lizards and salamanders. Colouration: green, brown, blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery. Bears a pattern number, '8'.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Chip to claw of one lizard and few to footrim these are associated to stilt marks.
Some minor flaking to green shredded clay, rim and under rim.
