
Victorian, circa 1875. 2.2ins high, 12.6ins wide, 8.1ins depth. Unidentified French French Palissy Majolica wall platter which features fish, a snake, a frog, a lizard and shellfish.
Colouration: blue, green, brown, are predominant.
CONDITION: Generally good.
Chips to under rim and foot rim.
Some small flakes to leaves and stems.
A lot of wear/scratching to the underside.
Some wear to the leaves, to the front.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze miss to the rim.
RESTORATION. Remodelled lizards head.
Filled chip to rim.
