Massier Majolica Flower Basket

Circa 1900. 8.7ins high, 8.3ins wide, 8.3ins depth. Delphin Massier Majolica flower basket which features a variety of flowers around the sides and a branch handle.

Colouration: green, brown, pink, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Delphin Massier pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

A few flakes to some of the flowers and rim.

 

 

KILN EFFECTS: a couple of shrinkage cracks to the rim.

RESTORATION. Sections of handle reglued and joins retouched.

Filled chips to rim.

Stabilised and retouched crack to rim.
