
Victorian, circa 1863. Tallest is 13.8ins high, 11ins wide, 11ins depth. Pair of Minton Majolica jardinières which feature white buttercups. Cobalt blue ground version.
Colouration: cobalt blue, ochre, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1075'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1863.
CONDITION: Planter 1: Generally good.
Hairline to the rim.
Wear from use to interior.
RESTORATION. Base section has been in pieces and reglued and joins retouched.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze miss to the interior.

Stabilised and retouched crack from rim, all the way down one side, still partly visible to the exterior.
