
Victorian, circa 1869. 2.8ins high, 5.7ins wide, 5.7ins depth. Minton Majolica cup & saucer which features lily pads, leaves and blossom.
Colouration: green, ochre, white, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1349'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1869.
CONDITION: Cup: Good. Tight hairline to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln grit caught in the glaze to the exterior.
RESTORATION. Retouched flake to rim.
Saucer: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.
