
Victorian, circa 1869. 1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 9.1ins depth. Minton Majolica oyster plate which features six shell shaped wells with seashell surrounds. Turquoise ground version.
Colouration: turquoise, green, cream, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1323'. English diamond registration mark for the date 20/03/1867. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1869.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
Very slight wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the center well.
