
Victorian, circa 1870. 12.6ins high, 5.1ins wide, 9.4ins depth. Brownfield Majolica jug/pitcher which features a cockatoo, with branch handle.
White ground version. Colouration: white, ochre, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Brownfield pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2099'.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the handle;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the exterior.
RESTORATION. Section of rim reglued and joins retouched.
