
Victorian, circa 1867. 15.4ins high, 14.6ins wide, 14.6ins depth. Minton Majolica jardinière which features four relief molded panels around the body, two with a female head in profile representing 'The Americas' and 'Africa', the other two with ring handles bound with green ribbon.
Colouration: ochre, cobalt blue, green, are predominant.

This piece would have been one of a pair of jardinieres, together representing 'The Four Continents'.
