
Victorian, circa 1870. 4.3ins high, 8.3ins wide, 7.1ins depth. George Jones Majolica sardine box which features fish on a seaweed ground, spiky leaf decoration to box and stand.
Pink ground version. Colouration: green, ochre, pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1?31'.
