
Victorian, circa 1871. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 1.2ins depth. Minton Majolica oyster plate which features 6 shell shaped wells surrounding a circular centre well which is lined with cockles. Mottled ground version.
Colouration: green, brown, cream, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1323'.
English diamond registration mark for the date 20/04/1846.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1871.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
Some slight wear to raised moldings.
KILN EFFECTS: patches of slight cloudiness to the glaze, in the wells.
