George Jones Majolica Compote

Victorian, circa 1880. 3.5ins high, 8.7ins wide, 8.7ins depth. George Jones Majolica compote which features a basketweave dish, supported by three bamboo branches.

Colouration: turquoise, white, green, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the interior;

a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the interior.
