Sarreguemines Majolica Duck Tureen

Early 20thC, circa 1920. 6.7ins high, 9.1ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Sarreguemines Majolica tureen with cover which features two entwined ducks.

Colouration: brown, grey, blue, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Sarreguemines pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3863'.

CONDITION: Cover: Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing.

Base: Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the interior.
