Majolica Worcester Shell Salt

Victorian, circa 1880. 2.8ins high, 2.6ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Royal Worcester Majolica salt which features a shell, coral and seaweed. Colouration: cream, green, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Royal Worcester pottery.

 

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration. Very tight hairlines to rim of shell.

KILN EFFECTS: fleck of stray coloured glaze to the inner rim of shell.
