Wedgwood Majolica Mottled Center Compote

Victorian, circa 1872. 3ins high, 9.1ins wide, 9.1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica compote which features mottled green and brown centre, surrounded by basket weave border.

Colouration: ochre, green, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1168'.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1872.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Light scratches from use.

Wear to the high points of the molding.
