Wedgwood Majolica mottled center plate

Victorian, circa 1874. 9.3ins high, 9.3ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features mottled green and brown centre, surrounded by basket weave border.

Colouration: ochre, green, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1168'.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1874.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Some small flakes to rim.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

Light scratches from use.
