George Jones Majolica Horse Chestnut Plate

Victorian, circa 1870. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 1.2ins depth. George Jones Majolica plate which features a horse chestnut leaf on a napkin. White ground version.

Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1804'.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Two small flakes to rim.

Slight wear to front.
